Jaipal joined 3M in 2019 after working as a Supply Chain Graduate for Procter & Gamble, and having studied Chemical Engineering at Imperial College, London. Now as a Production Planning Divisional Lead he leads several production planning teams in some of 3M's European factories - navigating the uncertainties that exist within the vast Supply Chain network. Jaipal also leads 3M Pride, 3M's network for LGBTQ+ Employees. As 2023 Chair, he leads the committee, advocating for 1400 allies and members of the 3M community. Jaipal identifies as a Gay Cis-Male and when choosing the engineering route, there was a distinct feeling that science and engineering weren’t for LGBTQ+ people. With his extensive background in Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Diversity and Inclusion, Jaipal wants to help eliminate barriers and stereotypes LGBTQ+ people face in STEM.
